Denver, CO, June 8, 2017 – Premier Roofing Company, one of the largest roofing contractors in the United States, gave back to the Denver community with a donation of $2,500.00 to Dumb Friends League. During a March 2017 engagement campaign, Premier Roofing’s Multi-Family division had over 60 property management companies vote for their preferred charity of the following: Soldier’s Angels, The Denver Dumb Friends League, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society – CO/WY Chapter and The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver. A total of 283 ballots were submitted.
“Being a pet owner myself, I was thrilled that The Dumb Friends League won, granted any of the four selected organizations are top notch and absolutely worthy of maximum donations,” said Premier Roofing employee Brett Rutz about the poll results. “We got a lot of very positive feedback from the property managers.”
Dumb Friends League provides life-changing medical treatment and compassionate foster care to thousands of pets that come to them every year, injured and in pain. In 2016, they saved the lives of more than 19,000 homeless animals.
“Thank you for helping provide the resources to give injured pets a second chance for health and happiness,” wrote Robert D. Rohde, President and CEO of Dumb Friends League.
Jen Aleman, Alex Barse, and Brett Rutz of the Multi-Family division at Premier Roofing Company visited the Dumb Friends League shelter at 2080 S. Quebec Street, Denver, CO to deliver the donation.
Premier Roofing, LLC was formed from the ground-up in Denver in 2005 by Colorado College classmates and good friends Ben McFerron and Chris Tulp. Both spent their early careers working tough jobs, Chris in commercial construction and Ben in farming, where they learned a lot about the value of hard work and an appreciation for the tangible results that come with manual labor. They started Premier Roofing with the goal to bring honesty and dedication to the roofing industry, their customers, and their employees.
